Happy Anniversary!!

August 18th we celebrated our second anniversary! It's really hard to believe it's been a whole two years since we got married! Tim Took me to celebrate in Salt Lake. We went to the temple where we were married 2 years ago, and walked around there for a while. After we went to the Olive Garden. When we were first dating we went on a date to see the temple square lights and then went to eat at the same Olive Garden, this is where Tim says he knew he loved me. It was a really fun and special night. Tim is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am so happy we ended up together! Thanks babe for everything you do for me! I love you!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM!!
Tim turned 25 on July 22nd. He got lots of presents on his birthday from everyone! To celebrate we went to Wingers, his favorite restaurant, then we invited Kenny, Marlyse, Hadley, and Talon over to go swimming and have some ice cream cake after.

As we were getting ready to go to Wingers we heard the doorbell ring, so Tim tells me to stay and he'll get it. He comes back with a golf club wrapped in a garbage bag with this note(below) stuck to it. He kept telling me somebody just dropped it off and he had no idea who it was. Well as soon as we sat down to eat he couldn't hold it in any longer and admits he bought it himself and had his younger brother drop it off at our door and run to act like some stranger brought it. This is how big of a goofer Tim is! He just had to buy himself a birthday present also.
TRIAL LAKE
We went on our annual camping trip with my family this past weekend. We each all caught 2 fish, which Tim was not very happy about because he wanted to be the winner this year. This time we made sure to get proof of the fishes we kept. Tim will still not touch the fish so each time he catches them he points the rod so the fish is right in my face so i have to be the one to take it off the hook. On our way home we stopped at the upper Provo Falls again. The water was freezing!!

Independence Day!...

We went up to Kaysville for the fourth of July. This was Tim's first year celebrating the fourth up there. We went to the parade and all caught lots of candy. The candy and water fight at the end are the only things i really get excited for, but we don't usually stay for the water fight anymore so mostly just the candy i should say now.
After the parade we went on our usual picnic up in the mountains.

Later that night we had a BBQ with just our family and then all headed over to the fireworks!
After those fireworks we always go home and light our own fireworks! After everything we were all so dead tired and exhausted! It was a really fun fourth of july and fun to show Tim finally all that we do up in Kaysville for it.

Carthage Jail and Nauvoo

While we were in Missouri visiting Tim's sister Becky and her family we were all able to head over to Illinois for a night and see Carthage jail and Nauvoo.

This is the famous window behind us that Joseph fell out of when he was shot.
They still had the same door which had the original bullet hole through it.
the same window but from the outside
The Mississippi river. this is the biggest part we saw probably.
It looks like a lake cause it's so big!
Hyrum Smith, Joseph Smith, and Emma Smith's graves

Joseph Smiths office

Brigham Young's house, we of course had to get a picture with Tim since he goes to BYU

Poor Timmer got pooped on by a bird!
Nauvoo Temple

It was such a cool experience being here and thinking that this is actually the place where all these amazing people lived and to be able to see the actual houses they lived in.
Thank you Clayton family for being so amazing to us and taking us to Nauvoo!

Missouri

Tim's sister Becky invited us out to Missouri to visit her family and watch her four kids for a few days while both her and Dan were out of town. We had so much fun there and got to see lots of cool things. The first day there we went to see the arch. I had been there once before but this was Tim's first time. I had forgotten how big it was! It was too busy to go up in the arch so we just walked around there. We also got to see the Mississippi river, which is huge!! We got a picture by the river when we were there at the arch but it gets so much bigger then that even. We drove along it when we went to nauvoo and it looked like a lake cause it was so wide. it's crazy!

Tim liked to sleep in a little bit so almost every morning while we were watching them they would go wake their Uncle Tim up. I taught them his ticklish spots to give them a little help. While we were there, they put out a tornado watch warning. It was actually pretty cool cause it would thunder ever couple seconds. We both love that stormy weather like that. It scared the kids pretty bad so after a little bit we ended up taking all of them to the basement to sleep just to be safe. Nothing ended up happening luckily. We were really glad to go visit them and get to know all the kids a little better since they live so far away!

cAliFoRniA!!!

This is what happened the whole trip down to California. The two boys slept the whole drive, Tim drove the entire time, and I kept Tim awake

Tim's parents rented out a big house that fit all of us for the whole week. It was only a few miles from the beach.

Tim and I walked down the beach and watched the sunset. We walked to a pier a ways down and we could see dolphins swimming around. That was only my second time seeing wild dolphins so i was way excited!

SEAWORLD

We LOVED seaworld! It's so crazy to me that they can train all these animals like the whales and dolphins to do all these cool tricks. It was really interesting learning about all the sea animals. Some are really scary!

SAN DIEGO ZOO!

The zoo was also way fun to go see! It was huge! There's some weird looking animals though!

The last day in California we went to the beach. It was really cloudy and kinda chilly so i didn't want to get in the water, i only stuck my feet in. Tim was brave and got all the way in. While him and some of the other boys were swimming i saw some dolphins barely further out then they were! (That makes my 3rd time seeing wild dolphins, plus they were so close so it was awesome!) I tried getting a picture put you couldn't tell at all.
