IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!

For Christmas morning we did our own thing by ourselves. That's when we always open up our own gifts to each other. Tim's favorite gift was his hot dog roller. Shelley got lots of gifts that were her favorite!
After having our own Christmas morning we got together again with Timothy's family side for presents from his parents. We all got lots of great stuff from them also. They gave us a food storage kit, ipod speakers, Tim got a sweater, and Shelley got a gift certificate to the mall. It was snowing on Christmas also so Tim's parents were really nice and let us take their car up to Shelley's family's house since it does a lot better in the snow. They are way to good to us!
Once we were up at Shelley's parents house we had a delicious lunch that her mother made. We then all opened up presents from each other. We drew names for Shelley's family also. It makes it so much easier! We got a Vacuum from the parents, then we got a very cute bowl with some candy and movies. A couple years ago when we both were working at Big 5, there was this green tank top that we had been trying to sell forever. it was on major discount and they made us keep in at the cashier desk for people to see. Finally one of the cooler store managers told Tim he would give him a quarter to buy the shirt and sell it for ten cents. So yes, he made 15 cents for buying the shirt. Robyn, Shelleys older sister, had a birthday soon after so Tim decided to give this to her as a funny fake gift. Ever since Robyn has been saying she wanted to pass the shirt on but she kept forgetting. This year for Christmas she drew our new sister in law Michelle and she finally remembered the shirt. Michelle of course didn't know about the shirt so it was funny when she opened it.
We had a really fun Christmas and got to spend the whole day with family! We're so lucky to have both families so close!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we celebrated it with Tim's side of the family. Tim had to work until eleven that night so we went down after and exchanged our presents for each other. We drew names so we didn't all have to spend so much since we are all poor college students. Shelley got the Sleeping Beauty movie and Timothy got a Chef hat and a plastic cutting board. We played with some of our gifts and then all had to head to bed since it was late.

Snow Day

We got so much snow! It snowed for a couple
days straight so we decided we needed to go out and enjoy it. We each helped roll the balls for our snowman. Tim made a mohawk for him. We tried using pretzels for eyes and chocolate chips for the mouth but neither would stay very well. We were proud of our snowman so we had to get some pictures.

Everything Squeezed Into One Party!

Our friend Clay had a birthday party just before christmas so we thought it would be fun to just combine it and make it an ugly christmas sweater party and do white elephant gifts, all while watching BYU in the Vegas Bowl. We gave a hot chocolate mug with hot chocolate mix stuff in there and then also a penquin soap dispenser and an awesome picture of Timothy in his bathing suit that looked especially good in a frame that said foxy in bright pink sparkly writing! As our white elephant presents that we got were mexican jello along with mexican hot sauce. We also got a picture album thing. After the party some of the guys along with Shelley and Jen came over to our house and played some xbox. We love our friends! They are all so fun!

Happy Birthday Hadley!

Hadley turned one year old on November 28th. It's crazy she's already that old! We went over to the other Keeton house for some delicious scones for breakfast. Thanks for inviting us!

Wedding Day!

Ryan and Michelle got married in a cute old chapel up in Kaysville. They had a quick little ceremony and went straight to the reception in the gym. They had decorated it all really cute so it looked really nice. Both families had been there since i think about seven that morning trying to hang a canopy thing and put all the tables and decorations up. We were lucky enough to get out of that part because Tim had a couple classes that morning that he needed to go to. Sorry family! We did help take down though so its ok we think! We're really happy that we have Michelle in our family now! She's awesome and is a great fit for Ryan.

Wedding Dinner

We went to Shelley's brother Ryans wedding dinner in November. We ate at the Joseph Smith Building in Salt Lake the night before the actual wedding. It was a lot of fun because Ryan's fiance Michelle has two younger sisters that Shelley knew growing up. One is my age and the other a year younger. Both played soccer for a while in Jr. high and then for a little bit in High School with me.
For the dinner they asked all the siblings to share a story. I told stories of what Ryan taught me growing up. I told of how he taught me to sneak out of the house and ditch classes and stuff. I was to dang nervous and shaky that i'm pretty sure it didn't seem funny like i hoped it would. I am the worst public speaker! Tim got out of it becuase him and the other brother in-law in our family decided since they are in-laws that they shouldn't have to. The dinner went really well and it was good to see all my extended family again.

Halloween

For Halloween we invited some friends over for a little party. We cooked some pizza's and had lots and lots of desserts. Tim dressed as a little boy in pajamas. He says this is the one time a year he can dress how he acts. It's so true this year! Shelley was a black cat.
William brought Vanessa as his date. They look like a pretty good couple don't ya think!?

For a game we decided to try a donut eating game. Tim got this idea from a party Kenny and Marlyse had a couple years back so we thought we would try it out. What you do is tie the donuts on a string and hang it from the fan. Then you turn the fan on low and everybody tries eating the donut. We made the mistake of not trying this out beforehand. Everybody got in their places and we turned on the fan. We realized our fan does not have a slow enough mode. The donuts went flying! Most broke off the strings and were flying into people. We had to give up on that game but it was pretty funny for the 2 seconds it lasted.

Kenny and Marlyse came dressed as Kevin Federline and Britney Spears. Hadley came dressed as a cute little giraffe.

Before the party started Shelley was letting Hadley sit by the counter and play with all the candy in the bowl. There was a glass dish that was sitting next to the bowl that was full of chili. Shelley was not paying enough attention and all a sudden Hadley pushed the candy bowl which then knocked the dish off the counter and shattered it. So we all were trying to hurry and clean it up before people came. It wasn't even our dish that broke so we felt really bad!

Tim's pajama bottoms were a little to revealing since they were actual little boy size. We both decided that people would probably appreciate it if he put something over them to cover up. Tim had some Spongebob boxers that he got as a wedding present from Josh so he put those over Top.

Cornbelly's

We decided it would be fun to get together with some of our friends and go to cornbelly's the week of Halloween. It ended up being only 3 of us couples. We went with Kyle and Jackie, and Kevin and Melissa. We had a ton of fun there with all of them. They had a corn maze that was shaped like David Archuleta. There was also another corn maze that was smaller which was haunted. We also went on a a little kiddi ride which was a cow train thing and then we went on a hay ride. When we first got on the hay ride we had to wait like 15 minutes cause they were trying to get the speakers to work so we'd have music along the way. They finally got the music going and we got to leave. The music they were playing was country, which Tim hates! So, after about a minute Tim and his buddies got kinda sick of it so they decided to yank the cord back out so the music stopped. It was funny but i felt bad cause they had been working for a long time on it so it would work. oh well. There was also a haunted blow up dinosaur that we walked through the mouth and come out through it's other end. They had some big pillow balloon trampoline things that we had to jump on as well and some bike things we raced around. Shelley got stuck with a little kid one though. They actually had a ton of things there and we had so much fun!

Shelley had a birthday!

On October 24th Shelley finally turned 21! I got so spoiled! At work me and all the girlies went out to eat at olive garden for lunch. They are all crazy funny girls so it was a ton of fun! They made the waiters sing happy birthday to me as well. After work i went home to find a big sign and balloons outside! Tim took me inside to find a ton of presents waiting for me. I got so many presents that i loved! Tim always spends way to much for me on my birthday!
For dinner we ate at fuddruckers. I thought it would be fun to go to a haunted house since it was a week before Halloween. We drove down to American Fork haunted forest but as soon as we pulled up there were a million people there and the cars were parked about half a mile down the road so we decided it was way to busy and we didn't want to wait for a couple hours to go in. We thought bowling could be fun so we went up the main street there in American Fork. We drove by a DI so we decided to go there instead and see what they have. We ended up finding a Glider chair for pretty cheap.
The next morning everybody came over for cake before the BYU game. I got even more presents from Tim's family. After the game i went up to my parents house because my new sister in law Michelle was having her bridal shower. I got to open even more presents up there and eat more cake. Now you can see just how spoiled i am for my birthday! Thank you everybody for the presents and celebrating it with me!
